My original design body chain is custom made per order - choose from 5 different necklace sizes and 6 different chest/bust sizes - all for the same price - custom sizes are available. This chainmaille body chain features a genuine Morgan Silver Dollar in a center connector coin bezel. The body chain will come to you packaged inside of a black velvet drawstring jewelry pouch nested in our deluxe gift box along with my signed certificate of authenticity.

The premium quality 6mm round stainless steel chainmaille is precision-shaped and formed from stainless steel rings. The coin is permanently mounted in the stainless steel center connector coin bezel - so the coin back is not visible. The coin before mounting in the setting is 1.5 inches (38mm) in diameter. It is genuine and struck by the U.S. Mint in 90% silver. The dates for each necklace will vary - but each is chosen for its beauty by me - I guarantee you will love the coin I select for you or your money back. The coin will be a circulated specimen from the full range of minted dates. After selecting each coin I professionally clean it then lightly hand polish it to highlight all of the original detail. The coin's antiquity will be reflected in small dings and scratches from its passage down the hall of time. Photography can not fully capture the luster of silver coins so plan to be very pleasantly surprised by the coins brilliant luster.

HOW TO SIZE THE NECKLACE SECTION OF THE BODY CHAIN
Due to the design of this necklace measuring for your necklace size is different than how other necklaces are measured. I charge to resize chains - so please let's get this right the first time. Note that there is no clasp behind the neck. It is designed to fit over your head so be sure the size you order will, in fact, fit over your head. Hint: measure the distance around your head at the widest point using a tape of string to be sure it will fit!

The necklace is designed for the pendant to rest in the center of your chest, as shown in the attached images. First, decide where you want the top of the coin bezel rest on your chest. Then, while holding one end of a piece of string at that point, take the other end of the string loosely up and around your neck back to that point - then measure the string for length from point to point. Select the closest length from the "Necklace Size" menu above.

HOW TO MEASURE CHEST / BUST SIZE FOR THE CONNECTOR CHAIN
Due to the design of this body chain, your measurement is critical to it fitting for you. I charge to resize chains - so please let's get this right the first time. From your measurement, I will determine the length of the "connector chains".

The "connector chain" connects the bottom of the coin bezel to the connector ring behind your neck. I need you to measure your chest or bust size as accurately as possible. You can use a cloth tape of piece of string to do this. Place one end in the center of your chest and wrap it around the widest part of your chest. Then check that measurement and choose the closest size from the sizing guide below. You will then choose the size from the drop-down menu above. I will calculate the length of the connector chains needed based on your chest/bust size.

SIZE GUIDE FOR CONNECTOR CHAIN

Size B - fits 35 - 37 inch chest / bust size

Size C - fits 38 - 40 inch chest / bust size

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BODY CHAIN
This high grade of stainless steel is considered to be hypoallergenic so it is safe to wear against your skin. Stainless steel is very durable and resistant to both tarnishing and corrosion. However repeated exposure to water (shower, pool, ocean, lake) will eventually cause chemical deposits from those sources to build upon the chain and cause dulling. So whenever it is exposed to water it should be thoroughly rinsed clean in distilled water then dried with a soft cloth. This will ensure it's brilliant finish is maintained for a lifetime of wearing. As with all silver items The genuine silver dollar can tarnish over time. You can let it take on a darker patina or from time to time brighten it up using silver polish.

ABOUT THE MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR
The Morgan silver dollar was first minted from 1878-1904, and again in 1921. It weighs 1 ounce and is 90% silver in content. A Philadelphia teacher, Anna Willess Williams, modeled for the depiction of Miss Liberty. A left-facing portrait head of Liberty is featured on the coin’s obverse, with an eagle with outstretched wings depicted on the back. George T. Morgan was the U.S. Mint engraver who created the design - hence its nickname "Morgan" dollar.
